How many shops do we visit?
We’ll typically visit around 4 shops maybe 5 depending on the size and needs of the tour group that day. We like to mix it up and offer a variety of different op shops, vintage shops. There is always time to return back afterwards to your favourite shop at the end of the tour.
What does the ticket cost cover?
The tour fee covers the style advice, fashion hints and tips that are emailed to you prior to the tour day. Individual shopping hints, tips and fashion advice on the day for your particular style and taste. Assistance on the day to help you find the wardrobe pieces and outfits you are seeking. Insider local recycled fashion shopping knowledge. The opportunity to connect with a group of like-minded people for a morning out. The shops offer exclusive specials, discounts and nibbles or refreshments to our tour guests (this varies each tour).
How much money will I need?
This varies depending on your needs. $50 can see you find a few new pieces for your wardrobe, a snack and drink. $100 will see you with lots of new outfits, lunch and drink.
Do shops have card facilities?
Most do but not all. So bring some cash too.
Will there be plus sizes?
Yes, each shop has a selection of plus size. There is also a great selection of shoes, bags, jewellery and accessories at each store.
How much are the items?
It varies. Typically you can find pieces for $5 and upwards with designer/vintage pieces more around the $20-$40 range.
How long do we walk for?
We walk in between to each shop. No stretch is longer than 10 minutes.
Do I need to bring anything?
Shoulder bag to carry wallet/cards/cash. Comfortable walking shoes. Your own carry bags or better still shopping trolley. Water bottle. A friend, mum or sister for double the fun.
Where do I park?
Instructions for best parking on the day will be emailed once your ticket has been purchased. Best to avoid timed parking zones.
What happens if I am running late?
Phone/text Rachel 0415435045. I’ll then let you know where we are so you can join us en-route.
What if I need to cancel? Do I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable. However they are transferable so you can transfer to a different name or different date.
Does the cafe cater for dietary needs?
Yes, we typically chose a cafe afterwards that caters for gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian other. Please let me know if you have any specific dietary requirements at the time of booking.
