So, today I want to share with you my go to items when it’s four seasons in one day.

My go to items for uncertain Spring weather:
#1 Knits – light weight knits, cardis and mesh tops. I love light knits in Spring colours like bright and bold or pastels so I don’t feel drab on a grey Spring days. Mesh knits are great with singlets underneath so you can just take off when the weather warms. Knits of different sleeve lengths keep it versatile.
#2 Scarves – the light weight kind. Light and flowy adding freshness. A great way to add a pop of colour and warmth to your outfit. Go for lightweight cotton or silk and play around with patterns and floral.
#3 Shirts – the button-up variety. A white shirt over a tank and jeans is a classic look that never dates. Keep a few different colours and styles of button-up shirts in your wardrobe as they look great over a tee or singlet with a statement necklace or scarf – then take the shirt off when it’s hot.
#4 Vests – denim or lightweight. Great way to add texture and difference to an outfit. Good for adding warmth without the bulkiness of wearing a jacket.
It can be tricky finding these items at this time of year when the shops are full of summer clothes. Your best bet is to head to your local op shop (or join us on our next shopping tour) or raid your best friend’s wardrobe.
